VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — An overnight fire damaged a dozen storage units in Virginia Beach.
A citizen called the Virginia Beach Fire Department just before 3 a.m. Monday to report the flames at the Oceana Self Storage and Office Warehouse at 1444 Southern Boulevard.
More than two dozen firefighters had the flames under control by 3:19 a.m.
The building was unoccupied at the time and no one was injured.
Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins said 12 units sustained some form of damaged.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
