VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) — A multi-family structure caught fire in Virginia Beach on Monday.
Firefighters received the 911 call around 5 p.m. about a fire in the 1500 block of Hill Meadow Court. On the scene, crews found light smoke coming from the structure.
People were inside the building when the fire started, but they are able to get to safety, but firefighters had to rescue three dogs.
No one was injured by the fire, but 5 occupants and 3 pets have been displaced.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
