One of the eastbound lanes were closed on Route 58 due to an overturned tractor-trailer Wednesday night.
The roadway was reopened around 11:45 p.m.
Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire and Rescue responded to a call at 8:37 p.m. for an overturned tractor-trailer in the eastbound lanes of Route 58 in the curve before the six lanes at Portsmouth Boulevard.
The driver was the only person in the tractor-trailer and according to police was not injured.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
