NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — The Newport News Fire Department put out a fire on Wendfield Circle Tuesday morning.
The fire happened in the 100 block of that street, around 6:12 a.m.
When the Fire Department tweeted about the incident, they did not report any injuries. They said the occupants got out of the home before firefighters needed to rescue them.
The department is still investigating possible causes for the fire.
