HAMPTON, Va. — Four people are without a home after a massive fire destroyed one home and damaged another in Hampton early Sunday morning.
Hampton fire crews fought the fire in the 500 block of River Street.
The fire enveloped one home and spread to another house next door.
1 person and a firefighter were treated for minor injuries, officials said. Four people are being assisted by the Red Cross.
The fire is still being investigated.
