CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Two people were displaced after a fire damaged their Deep Creek home Wednesday morning.
Chesapeake fire crews were called around 1:13 a.m. to the 400 block of Plummer Lane where they found smoke and flames coming from the home, Capt. Christopher Mackiewicz said in a news release.
Crews brought the fire under control around 2:14 a.m.
No one was injured and the two people are staying with family.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Mackiewicz said.
